Ending the HIV epidemic in Philadelphia is one of the City’s top public health objectives. The Department’s AIDS Activities Coordinating Office (AACO) supports a range of health and support services to prevent and treat HIV. AACO works to make sure everyone has access to the services and information they need, especially people in communities most affected by HIV. AACO manages Philly Keep on Loving, the City’s comprehensive online sexual health portal as well as a Health Information Helpline that provides education, referral, and support.
During June 2023, Brownstone was tasked with taking the Philly Keep on Loving message on the road in order to:
- Increase knowledge of PrEP among Philadelphians.
- Provide culturally relevant harm reduction messages to Philadelphians.
- Combat HIV stigma in HIV prevention and care delivery service and in the community at large.
Our target audience was black and brown LGBTQ+ individuals.Brownstone:
- Engaged five (5) local self-identified queer social media influencers to promote the Philly Keep on Loving campaign via original content creation posted biweekly
- Created a Philly Keep on Loving activation that our team took to two (2) large city events and four (4) bars in the city’s Gayborhood
The Impact in June 2023
- 1013 individuals engaged via events
- 41,707 individuals reached via social media influencer activity
- 52,929 unique visitors to PhillyKeeponLoving.com during the month of June
